DJ Kool Not Happy Trump Used “Let Me Clear My Throat”
DJ Kool is a little upset that President Donald Trump used his signature song Let Me Clear My Throat in an anti-Joe Biden meme. Trump tweeted the meme on Monday. DJ Kool caption-screamed on Instagram, “I HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT TRUMP TWEET THIS MORNING AS FAR AS THEM USING MY MUSIC IS CONCERNED AND I GOT MY MGMT TEAM ON TOP OF IT RIGHT NOW. TO ALL MY FOLLOWERS THAT HIT ME IN SUPPORT OF THIS ISSUE I LOVE YOU ALL THANK YOU SO MUCH AND GOD BLESS YOU (PLEASE REPOST THIS.)” Kool’s post was deleted at some point. Other artists including Rihanna, Adele, and Prince’s estate have had issues with Trump using their music at rallies or in campaign material.
