Skating is a fun exorcise and often times better to do solo. The ice is all yours to ice skate, and you’re free to glide at your own pace without cutesy holding hands or trying not to trip on your skating partner’s missteps. Again this could be another way to meet new people.

  • 3. Buy Yourself Something Nice

Since you have no one else to spend your money on, why not yourself. That nice, watch, bracelet, flowers, shoes or maybe even that electronic device you’ve been waiting months possibly years to buy. do it today. That gift may bring you the joy you’ve been looking for, at least for the moment.

  • 4. Go Out With Friends

You can’t be the only single one out of your friend group. You and that friend(s) should go out and enjoy each other company. Now, this might seem sort of lonely and desperate, but that comfort from your friends will make you forget that its Valentines Day.

  • 5. Order Take out

Nothing warms the soul and spirt more then some good food. Haven’t had you favorite restaurant in a while? Today is the day to go indulge in some of you favorite foods. If your trying to save money cooking is always an option as well. who doesn’t love a home cooked meal anyway.

  • 7. Go to the Movies

This one is tricky. Depending on the time of day and what movie, you may want to stay away from this one. However, this can also bring you much joy. Going to the movies is always satisfying. Its just something about the experience. if you haven’t been in a while, now is the perfect time to go. Pick up that smart phone and see what good movies are available and go.

  • 8. Treat Yourself to a Spa Day

Treat yourself to full on pampering. Get rid of all the negativity and toxins from your body by pre-booking a spa treatment. This season, treat yourself to some major pampering and be your own Valentine.

  • 9. Host a Singles party

Hosting a party for singles will make you realize that you are not alone. Being around a group of people listening to music, drinking and enjoying food is a great way to not celebrate Valentines Day completely alone.

  • 10. Stay Off Social Media

This one is going to be tough, but trust me its’s going to be worth it. Seeing everyone on the internet with their flowers, gifts, balloons, teddy bears etc. isn’t going to do anything but make you upset, so why put yourself though that. Everyone needs a break from social media sometime and today could be that day.
