The Coronavirus Has Led To War Between Runners, Walkers And Cyclists
With gyms and group classes canceled due to the Coronavirus many people are taking to the park and trails to get their exercise in. This is causing a war between runners, walkers and cyclists. For cyclists who use the bike lane and averaging around 15 – 25 miles per hour, it’s frustrating for runners or walkers to be in their lane, causing them to slow down and interrupt their pace. The same is true for walkers who don’t practice social distancing and walk in opposite directions from other walkers and runners. Both cyclists and walkers seem to agree on the issue of runners. “Runners are spitting out germs when they run past others,” said one Redditor. “We all have to find a way to co-exist,” said another.
