Temperatures Expected to Soar in Metro Detroit This Week
Buckle up for a sizzling week, as temperatures are expected to climb all week and get into the 90s by the time the weekend rolls around.
According to the National Weather Service, the start of the week will stay in the mid- to high 70s.
By Thursday, temperatures will start to get into the 80s, and by Friday, they’ll likely hit 90.
The rising hot temperatures are appropriate, as today (June 1) marks the start of the meteorological summer. According to the National Weather Service, this summer should have slightly above-average temperatures and rain totals.
