Burgers are great, but cheeseburgers are extra tasty. Michigan has a bunch of great burger and cheeseburger joints, and now, one cheeseburger spot has been named the best in the state.
The tally comes from Yelp. “Thick and juicy, thin and crispy, slapped between a fluffy moist bun and topped with ooey gooey cheese, there’s nothing like the perfect cheeseburger to get your mouth watering and your tummy rumbling,” they state in the story. “We’ve compiled the top place from each state to get the dreamiest cheeseburgers.” They also say to “slap on your stretchy pants and grab your ketchup,” which I find pretty hilarious.
According to Yelp, Green Dot Stables in Detroit has the best cheeseburger in Michigan. It has 4 out of 5 stars on Yelp. One happy reviewer said of Green Dot, “This place never disappoints! We love the smallish burgers since you can pretty much try them all. My husband always orders a bunch and we split them taking bites. This time we also tried a dessert some sort of peanut butter marshmallow fluff on a bun it was amazing!! Highly recommend they are always busy but soooo worth the wait!” Sounds like a perfect spot to go on a cheeseburger rampage. Green Dot Stables is located at 2200 West Lafayette Boulevard in Detroit.
