Woodward Dream Cruise is Back for 2021
After a year off, one of Detroit’s most popular events is back.
The 26th annual Woodward Dream Cruise, presented by Ford, will return this summer. The event will highlight the original 1966 Ford Bronco, in honor of the new production of the vehicle, and set off Aug. 21.
The Michigan Assembly Plant recently started shipping Broncos to dealers, for the first time in nearly 25 years.
“Woodward is our hometown celebration, commemorating the best of what we do and what we assemble – right here in the Motor City,” Rob Johnston, Ford Performance marketing manager, said in a statement. “It’s fitting that this year’s Dream Cruise honors the original Bronco at a time when the all-new, Michigan-built Bronco is rolling off the line.”
The Woodward Dream Cruise usually draws more than 1.5 million people and more than 40,000 cars from all over the world to the Motor City. This is Ford’s fourth consecutive year sponsoring the event.
