Amazon Looking to Hire 3,200 in Detroit Area, Offering Up to $1,000 Sign-On Bonus
Amazon is looking to hire more than 75,000 people in the U.S., with 3,200 of the positions being in southeast Michigan.
Jobs start at $17 per hour, according to Amazon, and offer health insurance and sign-on bonuses of up to $1,000. The positions are largely warehouse.
Amazon is also giving a $100 benefit to any new hire who is vaccinated for COVID-19 before starting the job.
