Jennifer Hudson to Perform at the 2023 Detroit Auto Show Charity Preview
In this year’s Charity Preview event, which kicks off the annual Detroit Auto Show, some major artist are slated to perform. Singer, actress, and TV talk show host Jennifer Hudson will perform at Huntington Place in Downtown Detroit on Friday, Sept. 15, the night before the auto show opens to the public. After portraying music legend Aretha Franklin in the 2021 biopic ‘Respect,’ auto show chairman Thad Szott says Hudson’s involvement is a “thrill.”
The Detroit Auto Show opens to the public on Saturday, Sept 16, and runs through Sept 24. Tickets cost $20 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $10 for children. The Charity Preview event will be from is scheduled for 5 p.m.-8:45 p.m. with Hudson performing at around 7:45. Tickets form the event are $400 per person or $700 for two. Tickets for both events can be purchased at North American International Auto Show.com as well.
