Violent Weekend in Detroit sparks Call to Action from City Officials

While many enjoyed a peaceful and quiet July 4 weekend with family and friends, others are mourning the death of loved ones who were shot and killed at a block party in Detroit. Sunday morning, two people were killed, while nineteen were wounded on the city's east side at an illegal block party where over 300 people were in attendance.
