Cedar Point is getting into the holiday spirit with “The Season of Joy” at Sawmill Creek by Cedar Point Resorts. Because, really, this amusement park shouldn’t go to waste during Ohio and Michigan’s lengthy winters, right? I think it’s really cool that Cedar Point is getting some the Christmas joy.
Sawmill Creek will become a winter wonderland with dazzling lights, cocktails and comedy, craft workshops, caroling, and of course, a little holiday magic. It’s all tucked into 200 acres of lush woodlands. It sounds super cozy and exciting to me.
Sawmill Creek, in a way, is a new attraction at Cedar Point. It opened earlier this year after an extensive renovation and is located just a few miles away from Cedar Point. “Sawmill Creek welcomes guests with 239 guest rooms, world-class dining at The Miller’s Table restaurant, a Tom Fazio-designed golf course (open seasonally) and the resort’s relaxing, natural setting,” a press release states about the resort.
“The Season of Joy at Sawmill Creek will be the perfect getaway this holiday season with more than 20 unique themed offerings, all layered within a stay at the modern lodge retreat,” a press release continues. Read on for the full slate of holiday attractions at Sawmill Creek via Cedar Point.
A small fee is required for select experiences, according to a release. For more information or to reserve special overnight packages during The Season of Joy at Sawmill Creek, visit sawmillcreekresort.com.
