LCA Scores One Of The Top Spots For Best NHL Arena
Going to a hockey game in Detroit is an unforgettable experience. From the pre-game excitement in downtown Detroit to the fast-paced action on the ice, You can feel the anticipation building as you see fans wearing their Red Wings gear and the sound of cheers and chants fills the air.
The home of the Detroit Red Wings is considered one of the best arenas in the National Hockey League. That’s according to a ranking compiled by Canada Sports Betting. They ranked the best NHL arenas based on the average price of beer per ounce, walking distance to the closest public transport, proximity to restaurants, and the availability of dedicated on-site parking. Each arena received a rating out of 10 for each metric, resulting in a total potential score of 40 points.
Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena (LCA) topped the list at spot number 2. Overall, the LCA had a score of 34.86. The arena opened its doors in September 2017. It has since become a central hub for sports, concerts, and other live events in the city.
Taking the top spot is Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, which is the home of the Avalanche. The study rates Ball Arena as the number one NHL Arena for fans. Other notable arenas mentioned include the United Center in Chicago (number 20) and the Madison Square Garden in New York (#26).

Fan Favorite Events Returning to Comerica Park This Season
The Opening Day celebration is making its return to Comerica Park on April 6. The Detroit Tigers will be welcoming back fans and returning this season with plenty of fan favorites. The season has already begun on the road, but the Tigers will return home to take on the Boston Red Sox.
Several special events will take place at Comerica Park throughout the 2023 season. The Tigers will celebrate Jackie Robinson Day on Friday, April 15 against the San Francisco Giants, and Kids Club Day, will be held on Saturday, May 27 vs. the Chicago White Sox. Marvel Super Hero Night, presented by Bally Sports Detroit, will be at Comerica Park on Saturday, August 26 against the Houston Astros.
