Book enthusiasts will gather in Detroit for a festival on Sunday, July 16. The 6th Annual Detroit Book Festival will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Market’s Shed 5, will be transformed into a realm of imagination and artistic expression. You can join in on the fun without spending a dime, it’s free.
Attendees can expect a space filled with preloved books, rare editions, and literary treasures. This festival will also be for those who collect vinyl records, collectors of comic books, and enthusiasts of vintage board games and creative arts. With an array of vendors from all corners of the country, you’ll be able to explore their finest offerings and find something that appeals to everyone’s tastes.
DJ Seven Whales will provide the musical ambiance, while several food vendors will be on-site, serving a variety of food from their mobile kitchens and trucks. The festival will be hosted at Shed 5, situated within the esteemed Eastern Market at 2934 Russell Street in Detroit. Free parking is available throughout the market area, so there’s no need to be deterred from attending this event.
