Detroit Pistons Announce Summer League Roster
The Detroit Pistons are ready to take on Vegas during the 2022 NBA Summer League. A few notable players made the 2022 NBA Summer League roster announced by the Detroit Pistons via social media. Some of those names include all rookie first team member and last years Rookie of the Year candidate Cade Cunningham, third year veterans Saddiq Bey, Killian Hayes and Isaiah Stewart and of course Detroit’s two top draft picks from this years draft Jaden Ivy and Jalen Duren.
Although they are on the roster, Cade Cunningham and Saddiq Bey will be practicing with the team only. Also joining the summer league team is Balsa Koprivica, who has been playing professionally in his home country of Serbia. The Boeheim brothers Jimmy and Buddy, of the Syracuse Orange, and sons of Syracuse men’s basketball legend and head coach Jim Boeheim along with former University of Michigan star Isaiah Livers will also be present for the team as well.
This will be fans first chance to see the Pistons new young talent team. With all the new youth they have gained over the last two seasons and the young players the team gained this year via the draft, the future is looking bright for motor city and the team is hooping to start off the season right and that begins with the summer league. The Pistons will face the portlant Trailblazer Thursday, July 7 at 9 pm on ESPN.
