Matthew Stafford Shows Detroit Some Love In New AT&T Commercial
Matthew Stafford started 12 seasons as the starting quarterback for the Detroit Lions, and though he was not able to bring a Super Bowl to the Motor City, there is no doubt that he gave it everything he had. That being said, in his latest commercial for AT&T he made sure to show love for the place he, his wife, and four children called home for 12 years.
As we all know by now, Stafford was traded to the Los Angeles Rams at the beginning of the 2021 NFL season. Stafford failed to win a playoff game during his time with the Lions, however he was able to take the Rams all the way to the Super Bowl, where they defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20. Stafford finished the season throwing for 4,886 yards and matching a career high with 41 touchdowns. After winning his first championship Stafford still continued to show Detroit love in his post game comments where he said he still felt the support from the city. Stafford reciprocated that love once again in the latest Samsung March Madness commercial. Take a look.
