Anita Baker Celebrates Birthday with New Residency
The iconic Anita Baker celebrated her 64th birthday by announcing to her fans her highly anticipated return to the stage. Baker took to Twitter to announce that she will be begin performing in Las Vegas in May of 2022. Baker last played a five-show residency at the Venetian Theater in Las Vegas in May and June of 2019 as part of her Farewell Concert Series. Over the past few months, she has been teasing a return to her fans via social media. In addition to her time in Sin City, Baker also shared that she signed a new deal with Rhino Records, after a battle with her former label, Elektra, over master recordings.
