Detroit Pays It Respects To Legendary Comedian “Downtown” Tony Brown
105.9 Kiss is sad to report the passing of legendary Detroit comedian “Downtown” Tony Brown who passed away Thursday evening. Brown was most famous for his appearances on Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam back in the early to mid 90’s. Brown was close friends with 105.9 Kiss’s own Mason and Angie Starr. Brown also hosted and performed at many of the local Detroit clubs where he made dozens upon dozens of fans cry tears of laughter for decades. Today we celebrate the life and legacy of one of Detroit’s finest. RIP “Downtown” Tony Brown.
