Sorry Detroit…No Verzuz Battle Between Toni Braxton and Mary J. Blige
If you saw the Verzuz flyer that said that there was going to be a faceoff between two iconic R&B queens and got excited…well sorry to disappoint, that rumor is indeed false. Mary J. Blige, Swizz Beats, and Timbaland all denied the rumors of this battle happening.

A lot of fans are disappointed that this battle isn’t going down for obvious reasons. The most notable being that fans have been wanting Mary J. Blige to do a Verzuz battle ever since last summer when the battles first began, but no one could think of a suitable opponent for Blige, and many fans believe that Toni Braxton is that opponent.
