Whitmer Continues to Ease Covid-19 Restrictions
After her mishap over the weekend with not following COVID-19 guidelines, Gov. Whitmer continues to push for her June 1st date in which Michiganders can began to be a bit more laxed with COVID-19 restrictions.
As of right now, most office workers have returned to work in the their respective office spaces and some don’t even have to wear a mask if they are fully vaccinated. Gov Whitmer stated that “Employers can now allow fully vaccinated employees to work normally without masks or distancing requirements.”
As for bars, restaurants and halls, they can now utilize dance floors and pool table areas for fully vaccinated customers and the six person table limit has now been removed. Customers who aren’t fully vaccinated can still participate in the bar and dance floor activities, however they are strongly encouraged to wear a mask. Gov. Whitmer is still targeting July 1st as the date in which all COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted and things will go back to “normal.”
