Michelle Parizon is seeking to shift the way young ladies approach relationships. As an educator for over 25 years, Michelle frequently finds herself as the source of inspiration and guidance for the youth she mentors.
While reflecting on the numerous conversations she has had with young ladies – and young men – about their relationship challenges she had an epiphany, which has led her to share her passion for community service, apply her background in media, and real-life relationship experiences, to create “Loving Me, Blocking Him”. This self-help book includes real-life scenarios, self-check exercises, and go-forward evaluations of how young ladies approach dating in the age of social media.
Her proven techniques and no-nonsense approach are strategies for teenagers and young adults to avoid perils and predicaments of dating, focus on their own personal development, and understand that real happiness comes from within. Michelle received her Bachelors in Mass Communications and her Master of Arts in Teaching from Wayne State University. She resides in Detroit, Michigan.
