Sinbad’s Children Give Update on His Stroke Recovery
Comedian Sinbad, whose real name is David Adkins, suffered a stroke last month. Now, his children are giving fans an update about how he’s doing, and thankfully, the news is good.
His kids, Royce and Paige, shared an Instagram video on behalf of the Adkins family to update fans on Sinbad’s condition.
“We are happy to report that he continues to recover and is getting better every single day,” they state in the video’s caption.
“We also want to thank every last one of you for your well wishes, calls, texts, cards, flowers, but especially your prayers,” they added. “God is listening and they are working and for that we are immensely grateful. We ask that you please continue to stand in agreement with us for his complete healing.”
They also thanked the “doctors, nurses, and staff who have been and are caring for him every day.”
The kids also shared a message direct from Sinbad:
“I have seen first hand how hard our medical workers are working during COVID and cannot stress enough how much we must appreciate them. We can show this appreciation by simply wearing a mask. Thank God for everything He’s given you, even if it’s not everything you asked for. Thank God for family and hug the ones you love while you’re still with them. We need each other to get through this journey.
I can’t wait to see you all again soon. As always, stay funky, stay prayed up!”
We know you can beat this, Sinbad!
