Elevator from Old Hudson’s Building Still Alive in Bloomfield Hills Residence
It’s difficult to believe, but roughly 22 years have passed since the famed J.L. Hudson’s building in Detroit was imploded.
Even though the building is no longer with us, a man was able to preserve part of the building, enabling it to still live on.
“I have great fond memories of going downtown to Hudson’s with my parents. As a child we went almost every week to go to the restaurant,” Alex Begin told Fox 2 Detroit. “And I remember how these elevators were a huge part of the experience when you went to Hudson’s.”
