Recreational use of marijuana was approved in Michigan last year, but sales of the substance will not start until the beginning of December. Marijuana will not be available everywhere in Michigan. 1,400 of Michigan cites, villages, and townships decided not to allow business to set up to sale recreational marijuana 78 percent said no recreational marijuana sales.
Lincoln Park was the only city to vote yes during November election.
Sales of marijuana got the green light earlier than expected with the Marijuana Regulatory Agency announcing mid- November that businesses could start selling cannabis for recreational use December 1, 2019. You can expect to find pot shops open in Ferndale, Warren, Pontiac, Ypsilanti, and Ann Arbor soon.
