In this week's episode of At the Table with Tune-Up:

We got to check out a crowd favorite! A Detroit Landmark for the last 37 years, it's so popular that celebrities check out the one and only Sweet Potato Sensations when they come to town. From the former first lady Hillary Clinton and a host of political candidates to even Actress Pam Grier has chowed down there, and now Tune Up man is having his seat at the table. Sweet Potato Sensations gives you the feel you would have run home for dinner as a child!

When we first showed up at Sweet Potato Sensations, the table was filled with love and goodness from various sweet potato pies of all sizes, and the variety they offer is fantastic!

From sweet potato with pecans to a classic sweet potato pie, let's not forget to mention a sweet potato pie with coconut.

The fluffy sweet potato waffles and crispy fried chicken are popular items on the menu. Also, the turkey chop sandwich melts in your mouth—so juicy! Other items include sweet Potatoes, grits, pancakes, cobbler, and ice cream. You must also try the famous black eye pea and greens soup and ask for the added turkey if you're not vegan. I'm sure there is more to try, but my appetite became bigger than my stomach, LOL.

Make sure you have a seat at one of Sweet Potato Sensations' tables and let them know Tune Up Man sent you! I forgot to mention the miniature salmon croquettes—8 in an order.

Don't forget the dipping sauce! You won't want to leave without it.

Where should we dine next? Let Tune Up Man know on his Instagram!
