Yung Miami Shares How She ‘Bagged’ Diddy
Yung Miami is sharing her secret about how she started dating Diddy. The City Girls rapper sat down with Billboard News and was asked how to “bag” a billionaire. The Florida native explained that people told her she “wasn’t Diddy’s type” but learned that after talking to him and being authentic, they hit it off.
“I’m just myself,” she said. “I’m just that bitch, and that’s how you just bag a n—-.”
The two began dating in 2021 and have been open about how they’re together, but they have an open relationship. For this year’s Met Gala, Yung Miami was the billionaire’s date after the City Girls rapper had at the time declared herself to be single, but they remained “good friends.”
“That’s not my man,” Miami said a week before the Gala on her April cover story with The Cut. “We had our own situation, I’m not gonna put a title on it.
At the Met Gala, Diddy was asked about their current relationship status, which seemed to be the opposite of what Miami had said previously.
“We definitely go together real bad!” he said at the time. “She’s my date for the night… We don’t put titles on it. Everybody wants us to put a title on it, we don’t put titles. This like my best friend in the world, one of the most beautiful people God has blessed me with. And I’m blessed that she’s my date tonight.”
Yung Miami then chimed in and echoed Diddy’s response: “It’s just a good date night.”
