‘Team Jamaica’ Shades Sha’Carri Richardson After Tasteless ‘Liked’ Tweet
“Team Jamaica” is getting back at Sha’Carri Richardson after social media scouts founded that the track star “liked” a tweet about the track athletes of Jamaica that was very much tasteless.
On Wednesday, Richardson “liked” a tweet that read, “Not y’all Jamaicans still talking s*** when y’all gotta walk barefoot to your coconut stand everyday for a living.”
It doesn’t come to much of a surprise that people were not happy with Richardson’s “liked” tweet and it wasn’t long before “Team Jamaica” caught wind of the shady tweet.
An unoffical “Team Jamaica” Twitter account posted some shade emoji-style based on Richardson’s performance at the Prefontaine Classic last weekend when she came in ninth placeafter boasting how she would dust the Jamaicans after disqualifying from the Tokyo Olympics.
Too soon? 👀😏

Richardson recently shaded 11-time Olympian Allyson Felix after Felix offered some encouraging words.
