Detroit to Lift Bar and Restaurant Curfew June 1st
Great News Detroit! Staring June 1st Michigan will be lifting its curfew for bars and restaurants.
As of right now all bars and restaurants are to be closed by 11 p.m. However, according to Gov. Whitmer bar and restaurants will be able to operate at 50% capacity indoors and the restrictions on all outdoor capacity limits will be lifted. For the individuals who are concerned about wearing masks, Gov Whitmer says that all mask regulations will continue to be in place, but not as severe as before. Whitmer stated that businesses and/or workplaces are still allowed to require masks for customers to enter if they choose to do so. As the vaccine continues to get distributed, the more the restrictions will continue to be lifted. So if you’re planning on going out this summer just remember to have fun and be safe Detroit.
