Wild Tax Fraud Scheme
A female rap group by the name of “Deuces Wild” are facing federal charges for their involvement in filing fraudulent tax returns.
Sameerah Marrell and Noell Brown of Southfield, Michigan filed 122 tax returns in the states of Michigan and Georgia. The IRS said that the two women were able to get them to issue out 13.6 million dollars, but were only actually paid 5.5 million. The two women made up fake companies like “Lucid Communication Trust” and “For Weaves” and got tax returns from both companies for $57,000 and $31,000. Both Marrell and Brown are being brought upon charges of aggravated identity theft and false claims of conspiracy.
