Whoopi Goldberg And Tyler Perry Are Teaming Up For ‘Sister Act 3’
It’s happening, Sister Act fans. Whoopi Goldberg has officially signed up for Sister Act 3. Per People, Whoopi will reprise her role as Deloris Van Cartier and will also be a producer. Additionally, Tyler Perry is stepping in as a producer.

As People points out, back in October, Whoopi discussed the possibility of getting the gang back together on The Late Late Show With James Corden.
She said, “For a long time, they kept saying no one wanted to see it. And then quite recently, it turns out, that may not be true. People may want to see it. So, we’re working diligently to try to figure out how to get the gang together and come back.”
The sequel to Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit, will stream on Disney+.
