Will Smith publicly apologized to Janet Hubert during the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion, and now Mo’Nique wants Tyler Perry to give her the same treatment. The comedian commended Will Smith for apologizing on Instagram. She then said, “Perhaps Tyler Perry, who has admitted in private that he was wrong will follow suit & be man enough to apologize in public like he promised.” She added, “Tell the truth about a women named Mo’Nique who did nothing wrong & be a champion for the individuals who supported your career for years….THE BLACK WOMEN.” Her message came with a clip of Fresh Prince and a recording of Tyler Perry talking about their issues.
