Jada Pinkett Smith Confirms Relationship With August Alsina On ‘Red Table Talk’
Jada Pinkett Smith recently brought herself to her Red Table Talk show and confirmed her relationship with August Alsina.
As we previously reported, Alsina had shared that he and Jada were previously in a relationship that was Will Smith-approved.
However, although. Jada confirmed her relationship with the R&B crooner, she wanted to clarify that Will didn’t “approve” anything because only she could do that.
But Jada also revealed that she and Will were currently “amicably” separated from each other at the time, and she also asserted that she believes Alsina said their relationship was approved by Will because he didn’t want fans to think that he was a “homewrecker.”
During the Red Table Talk conversation between Will and Jada, Will sort of guided Jada into actually admitting that she and Alsina had a relationship.
“I got into an entanglement with August,” she told Will before he said that the two were in a relationship.” “Yes. Yes, it was a relationship,” Jada responded. “Absolutely.”
The actress and talk host said, “I was in a lot of pain.” “I just wanted to feel good. It had been so long since I felt good,” Jada added. “It was really a joy to just help heal somebody.” Jada then made a point to say,” You can’t find happiness outside of yourself.”
