Muhammad Ali’s Son Says He Would Have Hated Black Lives Matter
Boxing legend Muhammad Ali’s son, Muhummad Ali Jr., told The New York Post that his father would have hated the Black Lives Matter movement, calling it racist.
The 47-year-old son of the sports icon also said that the officer who pressed his knee into George Floyd’s neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds “was just doing his job.” Ali Jr. said that the Black Lives Matter movement is “racist” by “pitting black people against everyone else”, adding “It’s not just black lives matter. White lives matter. Chinese lives matter. All lives matter.” Ali Jr. who was estranged from his father before he passed, also supports President Donald Trump, calling him a “good president.” While Ali’s son knew the boxing great better than most, how do you think Muhammad Ali, a vocal civil rights campaigner, would feel about the Black Lives Matter movement? If you disagree with Ali Jr.’s statements, what would you say to him?
