Kanye West and Mariah Carey To Join Joel Osteen’s Virtual Easter Service
Popular pastor Joel Osteen is hosting a virtual Easter Sunday Service from his Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, and he’s invited a few A-list guests including Kanye West and Mariah Carey, as TMZ reports.
The rapper-producer and singer will perform remotely for Osteen’s congregation. Carey will pay homage to medical health care workers who are currently putting their lives at risk to help fight COVID-19 by performing her hit single “Hero.”
West will perform from Los Angeles alongside his Sunday Service crew. Both performances will be streamed via Osteen’s church’s feed. Tyler Perry will also be in virtual attendance in Osteen’s Easter Sunday Service. Osteen’s audience is over 10 million.
Osteen’s virtual Easter Sunday Service will commence on Sunday (Apr. 12) at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. It’s currently uncertain if Kanye West and Mariah Carey’s performances will be pre-recorded or streamed live.
