The Game Helps Kids Who Had Cops Called On Them For Selling Candy
Los Angeles rapper The Game recently helped out a group of children and teenagers who were about to be in some hot water: cops were called on them because they soliciting, selling candy.
The “How We Do” rapper was leaving Beauty & Essex restaurant Sunday night (Jan. 19) when he noticed that police officers were talking to a group of children and teenagers who were selling candy on the sidewalk, as TMZ reports.
A business in the surrounding area had called the police and rather than see them get into trouble with the cops, The Game intervened.
The rapper handed out enough money to cover the entire amount of candy that the young men were selling, and even let them keep their candy.
The Game told TMZ that he was “giving jewels to the youth,” so they didn’t get hit by the “boys in blue.”
