Big Changes Summer Charity Preview 2020
The changes are designed to attract a new and younger audience spotlighting the city’s Riverfront by including a portion of the charity preview at Hart Plaza
The preview will include the inside of the TCF Center and continue along the River to Hart Plaza.
“Charity Preview will be a party inside and outside that welcomes both an updated creative black-tie audience as well as late-night summer-chic attired guests,” 2020 NAIAS Chairman Doug North said in a press release. “Warm temperatures and late sunsets will make for a spectacular evening in terms of what attendees are going to see and experience at this special night of giving.”
Guests looking for the entire auto show experience get a choice. They are:
All Access Tickets – $400 each/$750 for a pair
These tickets will offer guests access to the entire NAIAS indoor and outdoor shows, including the VIP ribbon-cutting ceremony, admittance to the show floor and more.
It includes complimentary cocktails and hor d’oeuvres representing “A Taste of Detroit” and Entertainment on the atrium stage
Outdoor Access Tickets – $200
These tickets give access to the NAIAS outdoor campus at Hart Plaza, which will feature multiple engagements, food trucks, beer and wine.
The entertainment will be focused on the millennial generation in the plaza’s amphitheater.
Tickets for the Charity Preview will go on sale Monday, March 16.
There is also a new dress code with two different styles preferred for the event: creative black-tie for those who have all access tickets and summer-chic for the people with outdoor access tickets.
For all-access tickets, the ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place from 5-6 p.m., with show floor access from 6-9 p.m. and entertainment in the atrium from 8:45-10 p.m. The outdoor campus will be accessible from 6-11:30 p.m.
For outdoor tickets, you can get into Hart Plaza from 8-11:30 p.m.
