Inside Detroit: Weekend Editions With Mildred Gaddis

Time Magazine calls the former AM 1200/99.9 FM WCHB, host Mildred Gaddis, one of the most astute political minds in southeast Michigan.

She’s been a panelist on CNN’s Lou Dobbs show and is a 40+ year radio veteran. “Her sometimes no-nonsense, but warm and inspiring style has made her a force to be reckoned with and admired by politicians and residents through Metro Detroit.

“She rarely has to track people down to be on her show, they call her,” says the Detroit Free Press!

She is a professor at Wayne County Community College in the Communications Department and Community Affairs Director for Radio One Detroit.

Mildred has been described by The Detroit Free Press as one of ten (10) African Americans to watch in Detroit, Michigan Chronicle Women of Excellence, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and Beta Omicron Zeta Chapter “Woman of the Year.”
She is a native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and a graduate of Texas Southern University. She currently resides in Michigan with her husband and has one daughter. You can catch her on-air every Sunday from 8am-10am on 105.9 Kiss Fm Detroit!
