Mildred Gaddis is a Broadcast Journalist whose career has spun over 45 years. Her career stints have covered St. Louis, Missouri, Houston, Texas and now Detroit.

Time Magazine calls the former AM 1200/99.9 FM WCHB host “one of the most astute political minds in southeast Michigan.”

She is known for her no-nonsense, but warm and inspiring style which has made her a force to be reckoned with and admired by politicians and residents throughout Metro Detroit.

The Detroit Free Press wrote “She rarely has to track people down to be on her show…they call her.” They also named Mildred one of “Michigan Chronicle’s Women of Excellence”, Beta Omicron Zeta Chapter’s “Woman of the Year” and one of ten African Americans to watch in Detroit.

A native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and a graduate of Texas Southern University, she currently resides in Michigan with her husband and daughter. You can catch her on-air Sundays from 8am-10am on 105.9 KISS FM Detroit.
