Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre is Macomb’s premier outdoor amphitheatre where concertgoers can except a diverse array of top touring acts! KISS-FM is a part of a lot of shows that happen at Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre, the most notable show for us being the annual KISS Block Party! With that being said, we’ve came to be really familiar with the venue and know what you can and can’t do on a concert night or day at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre.

We want you to be prepared for this summer concert season! Here’s our guide to the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre filled with things we’ve learned throughout the years.

  • Bag Policy

All bags, purses, and clutches are PROHIBITED. Single compartment wallets smaller than 4″x6″x1.5″, with or without a handle or strap are permitted. The exception to this policy include bags that are needed for medical necessities including diaper bags, breast pumps, and other medical devices. Medical bags must measure smaller than 14″x14″x6″.

  • Doors Open

The gates at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre typically open 90 minutes before the scheduled show start.

  • Parking Policies

With a big concert venue like this, there are quite a few parking policies. Due note, if needed, accessible parking is available at the South Lot which is located next to the Freedom Hill Banquet Center.

    – The parking lot opens at 4 p.m. (for most shows) or two and a half hours prior to a matinee show.
    – Tailgating and barbecuing are allowed as long as there are no open flames. However, when tailgating, your vehicle is only allowed to occupy ONE parking space.
    – Alcohol is not allowed.
    – No tents, canopies, awnings, or camping toilets are allowed.
    – There is no re-admittance.

Concertgoers are allowed to bring “beach style” chairs into the venue for MOST amphitheatre shows. However, camping chairs or chairs that are more than 12 inches from the ground to the bottom of the seat when unfolded are not allowed.

Due to the venue’s bag policy, any bags that chairs come in are not allowed so you’ll have to remove the chair from its bag at the car before heading in.

Sadly, even if you’re tailgating in the parking lot, no outside food or drinks are allowed through the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre gates.

Smoking is not allowed inside the venue’s pavilion, restrooms, on the sponsor decks, or where food and drinks are sold.
