Fall seems to get a lot of glory when it comes to sports. It’s understandable, the football season is in full swing. You get both NFL and college football. Basketball season is also starting up and the baseball season is coming to an end. You get a lot of sports at once and it’s a great time. However, spring doesn’t get enough credit for all the great sports moments that happen during those few months. It feels like spring comes and goes in a blink of an eye, but a lot of big sports events happen during the spring time. It could be the best time of year for sports!
Spring Might Be The Best Time Of Year For Sports
Don’t believe it could be true? Let’s break it down. First, you get March Madness! It’s one of the best sporting events of the entire year! There’s really nothing else like it. Additionally, you have The Masters tournament in golf which is the sport’s biggest tourney. Personally, I find it to be the best weekend for napping of the entire year, but I suppose it’s also good for golf as well. Those are 2 big events in spring but there’s still more!
You also have the highly anticipated NFL draft at the end of April. That’s a big deal! After months of speculating and doing mock drafts it all comes to fruition at the end of April. This year, the NFL draft will happen in Green Bay which will be a cool and historic experience at Lambeau Field. That will be a very cool event and is something to look forward to regardless of which team you root for.
Spring also means Opening Day and the return of baseball! Meanwhile the NBA season is in full swing and we’re pushing for a playoff push. It’s the same for the NHL, spring is a great time for these sports. Spring could be the best time of year for sports. What do you think? I feel like there’s no need to look forward to fall or summer and we should appreciate the big sports moments that we’re in right now!
