These Iconic Artists Have Birthdays in May

Spring is here and Summer is on the way. Temps are going up and people are out enjoying the weather. And some are enjoying their birthdays during this gorgeous weather. And we have a list of some amazing and iconic artists that MAY share a birthday with you.  So here are the Birthdays in May.

• May 5th: Chris Brown

  Chris (Maurice) Brown was born on May 5th, 1989 in Tappahannock, Virginia. Billboard puts Chris as one of the most successful R&B singers of his generation. Chris Brown’s self-titled album Chris Brown sold six million copies worldwide.

• May 23rd: Maxwell

  Gerald Maxwell Rivera was born on May 23rd, 1973 in Brooklyn, New York. Maxwell has had a long and successful career. He won three Grammy Awards and two NAACP Image Awards. His debut album Maxwell’s Urban Hang Suite was well-received. After taking a break from music, Maxwell returned in 2009 with the album BLACKsummer’snight. 

   

   

• May 26th- Lauryn Hill

  Lauryn Noelle Hill was born on May 26th, 1975 in East Orange, New Jersey. Who doesn’t love Lauryn Hill? Her voice is full of magic. She was the front woman of The Fugees. Her solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is one of the best-selling albums of all time. She has, so far, won eight Grammys.
