These Iconic Artists Have Birthdays in June

• June 7th - Prince

  Prince Rogers Nelson was born on June 7th, 1958 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. What cannot be said about the King of Purple? His life and career were amazing. We’re all still feeling the void he left when he passed so soon at the age of 57. Prince succeeded on so many levels. His first serious critical success was with Dirty Mind, Controversy, and 1999. But his sixth album, Purple Rain took him to legendary levels. There is a list a mile long of musical legends that were and still are inspired by Prince.

   

• June 18th - Nathan Morris

  Nathan Bartholomew Morris was born on June 18th, 1971 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Nathan will always be best known for his incredible voice and singing with Boyz II Men. I’m a wordsmith and I love new words. Nathan is described as a “baritenor” and that is someone with a baritone voice that can hit any tenor range. Pretty cool right?
