At The Table With Tune-Up: Exploring Detroit Wing Company
Tune-Up Man is back with another episode of At The Table With Tune-Up, and this time, he’s heading to one of his favorite spots: Detroit Wing Company (DWC) in Troy. Located at the corner of Maple and Coolidge, DWC is expanding throughout Michigan and even into Ohio, making it a go-to destination for wing lovers across the region.
The menu has just been updated, and Tune-Up is excited to dive in.
Nashville Fries
First on his list was to try the Nashville Fries. They are known for their kick of spice and amazing crunch, and these fries are quickly becoming his new favorite.
Chicken Wings
But what he was most excited about was talking about the chicken wings. First on his list was the Garlic Parmesan traditional bone-in wings, and then he dug into his favorite, the Firecracker boneless wings—a perfect mix of sweet and spicy that left him craving more. As he put it, “Once you bite on that sweet and spicy, it’s called Firecracker. Make sure when you come in, say Tune-Up at the Firecracker!”
With 17 wing flavors, there’s something for everyone, whether you prefer mild or bold. You can order wings of 5, 10, 20, 30, or even 50 for those who want to dig in.
Chicken Wraps
If you’re not in the mood for wings, DWC’s spicy chicken wraps and the bacon chicken ranch wrap are other standout menu items that Tune-Up Man couldn’t stop raving about.
To wash down all that flavor, Tune-Up Man recommends the refreshing Strawberry Lemonade or DWC’s signature blue drink—a perfect pairing for the heat of their wings and fries.
So whether you’re in Troy or near any of DWC’s locations, be sure to drop by, try some wings, and say Tune-Up Man sent you. At The Table With Tune-Up, we will be back soon with more local flavors, so stay tuned for the next adventure!
