For Michigan-themed costumes, one great one is a Detroit Lions football player. This would work for any of Michigan’s big sports, whether it’s the Lions, Pistons, Red Wings, Tigers or our college teams. If you have a jersey for shirt from one of these teams, sport it, and try to carry about a football or basketball or anything that would designate that sport.
Another cute Michigan one could be Faygo soda. You could use cardboard to paint the Faygo logo and carry that around with clothing that matches the Faygo flavor. Also, of course, carry around some Faygo and drink it up with this costume.
One idea that’s not just specific to the region is a “Greaser Costume.” It’s a 1950s-inspired costume, and all you need is black pants, a tight, white T-shirt and greased up hair.
