The Detroit Tigers won Game 2 of their AL Wild Card Series against the Houston Astros with a 5-2 victory.

Andy Ibáñez hit a tiebreaking three-run double in the eighth inning, securing the win.

The Tigers' victory ended the Astros' seven consecutive appearances in the AL Championship Series.

Detroit will now face the AL Central champions in the AL Division Series.

The Astros' postseason struggles continued as they lost their seventh straight postseason game at home.

Despite the Astros taking the lead in the seventh inning, the Tigers rallied in the eighth to secure the win.
