RH Plans Rooftop Restaurant for New Birmingham Furniture Store

A rooftop dining spot will crown the newest RH design and furniture store at 300 S Old Woodward Avenue in Birmingham, Michigan. The restaurant and showroom will be open to guests next month.

Staff members at the Birmingham site told What Now Detroit about the upcoming launch. OpenTable listings show American dishes will be on the menu.

This marks another step in RH's push into dining, with food spots now at 20 stores nationwide. Most serve Italian food and wine to shoppers.

Situated near the Daxton Hotel at E Brown Street's corner, the store's in a bustling shopping area. Construction teams have kept busy through summer 2025.

The brand runs 110 stores in the U.S., selling items for homes—from beds to sofas to patio chairs and beyond.

Initial plans included housing units, but that vision for the project changed along the way. Crain's Detroit Business reported in July that doors would open by mid-October.

When asked for details, RH's Vice President of Hospitality Ryan Wagner stayed quiet about what's coming to the new spot.
