Drake has fans on edge with a series of cryptic moves and announcements. It started when an unexpected freestyle surfaced on streaming platforms. Though it was not an official release—it was part of a longer video by Conductor Williams. In the freestyle, he called out backstabbers and even referenced LeBron James.

Not long after, Drake took to his Instagram Story with a blurry image of a man in a tux and the caption “I’m about to get active again… Free Anita @stake.” While the meaning behind the post remains unclear, it seems Drake is gearing up for a busy 2025.

The post also revived his alter ego, Anita Max, possibly tying into his upcoming Anita Max Wynn tour in Australia. Beyond the tour, Drake’s recent comments suggest fans can expect new music as well.

During a Christmas livestream with Adin Ross, he said, “I’m loaded [for 2025].” He also revealed he’s been working on a joint album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, describing it as “one of the projects I’m most proud of in my life.”

“I’ve always wanted to make a full album of that – of our sound, Toronto sound, R&B. So it’s just the best that both of us have to offer. Listening party has to be in the city. I think ’25 will be a shift. I think people wanna just get back to like just dropping their s---.”

While his much-discussed feud with Kendrick Lamar is reportedly “over,” many are hoping for more sharp-tongued bars and subtle shots. For now, all eyes are on Drake, waiting to see what his next move will be.
