Amazon Prime Day is right around the corner and the company is teaming up with Megan Thee Stallion to celebrate its 10th annual discount event. The rapper released an original song called “It’s Prime Day” with a music video that shows her purchasing a pink dog collar, fake eyelashes, and other items from Amazon.

“The music video was inspired by how customers use Prime Day deals to get closer to what they care about. We partnered with Megan and directors Dave Meyers and Mia Barnes from Radical Media to imagine how specific Prime Day deals could inspire all the different “Megans” she could become,” the company said.

The online company’s two-day discount event is set to take place on July 16 and 17 this year. It’s open to Prime members who pay Amazon $14.99 per month, or $139 per year, for access to deals and other perks, such as free shipping.

Amazon held an October event for Prime members in the last two years to kick off the holiday shopping season. In March, the company held its first-ever spring sales event for all shoppers.

Amazon said Prime members in two dozen countries will participate in July’s discount event, which will also mark the start of the back-to-school shopping season.

Megan Thee Stallion’s "It’s Prime Day" Video

The company says Megan Thee Stallion’s Prime song, a bonus track from her forthcoming album MEGAN, will drop on June 28 and be available for fans listening only on Amazon Music. It also said it would offer early deals on items from the rapper’s new tour merchandise collection.

The rapper’s real-life interests inspired the deals, and her different personas are in the video, like "Megan Thee Chef." “Megan Thee Lifeguard” features items from Megan’s own line of beachwear, including the “hot girl” shorts she wears in the scene. “Megan Thee Cosplayer” is inspired by her appearances at conventions and award shows, where she is known by her fans to appear in costume.

You even see Megan do all her own stunts in the video, including the motorcycle jump as “Megan Thee Daredevil.” The company said the song you hear in the video was written as an original for the commercial.

“Everything mentioned in the lyrics came straight from Megan,” said Amazon. She shares some of her favorite products including lashes, jewelry, clothes, and candles. Megan even shares what she loves about Amazon, “Once you log in, it ain’t nothin hard to find.”
