GloRilla Arrested For DUI
GloRilla, born Gloria Hallelujah Woods, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence and other charges in Gwinnett County in Georgia, according to local news outlet WSB-TV. She was charged for driving under the influence, having an open container, and failing to obey a traffic control device. According to HipHopDX, GloRilla was stopped by an officer after making a U-turn at a red light. Her mugshot shortly began circulating online.
She reportedly refused to take a breathalyzer, according to the publication, but according to TMZ she participated in several field sobriety tests, and she did not pass some of them. The police officer also claimed that the rapper’s breast slipped out under her top, which he told her about. According to body cam footage per the gossip site, the rapper told the officer she had a gun in the car, but there was not a mention of a firearm in the police report, and she didn’t have a weapons charge.
She was booked at 6 a.m. and was released on a $1,956 bond a couple of hours later.
After reports of her arrest became known online, the rapper posted a photo of herself balancing a bottle of liquor on her head which she she recieved a lot of backlash from that.
