Kanye West Introduces ‘Yeezy Pods’
Kanye West might have one of the most interesting pairs of footwear on the market. The rapper has introduced “Yeezy Pods,” and by the name alone, you would assume they would resemble Apple’s AirPods given the similar title, yet they are actually a pair of footwear and not headphones.
On Tuesday (Dec. 28), Ye posted a video promoting the sock-like footwear, directing fans to purchase the product directly from his site Yeezy.com. The footwear can be pre-ordered for $200. The site also has a pre-save option for he and Ty Dolla $ign’s upcoming album Vultures as well as merch promoting the album.
RELATED: Kanye West Apologizes To Jewish Community In Hebrew
The Yeezy Pods announcement follows his apology to the Jewish community earlier this week.
“I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused,” West wrote in translation from Hebrew.
Kanye continued, “I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future. Your forgiveness is important to me, and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity.”

His apology was under scrutiny from fans who urged him to post an apology in English as Hebrew is not a language exclusive to Jewish people and not all Jewish people speak Hebrew.
“Now post it in English so that not only we (Hebrew speakers) will understand,” one fan wrote.
“You should be ashamed of yourself,” one Instagram user wrote in the comment section. “For more than a year you shoot anti-Semitic and offensive statements for no reason and out of complete ignorance! Is this the legacy you want to pass on to your children???”
After his apology made rounds, it was reported per TMZ that there is an 85% chance that his apology was written by AI (Artificial Intelligence). Ye has not confirmed this report.
