College football kicked off last weekend, and the hype is big. Michigan State University football fans are watching Mel Tucker to see if he can deliver and recreate the magic he had a few years ago. Meanwhile, the Michigan Wolverines are one of the most buzzed-about teams in the NFL. Well, now Michigan football has gotten the biggest endorsement ever.

One major NFL star actually says that Michigan is the No. 1 team in college football this year. He says they’re the team to beat. So, who is the guy? You may have heard of him.

That guys is Mr. Tom Brady. Of course, Brady recently retired from playing in the NFL. And, this time he’s staying retired. But, he’s still involved with football. During a recent Fox news appearance, Brady named the college football team to watch in 2023. Also, Brady has signed a deal with FOX Sports to serve as the network’s its No. 1 NFL game analyst starting in 2024. His appearance last weekend, though, was on FOX Sports “Big Noon Kickoff” for the first week of the 2023 college football season.

Michigan Football Gets the Biggest Endorsement Ever

“Look, guys, I hate to ruin this for everyone else, but this is Michigan’s year,” Brady said on the show. “We’re coming off two back-to-back Big Ten titles, two straight Ohio State beatdowns. He added some kind words for head coach Jim Harbaugh. “Sorry, Urban. Look, Coach Harbaugh’s got all his key pieces back. He’s got a blue-chip quarterback in J.J. McCarthy. A two-headed monster in the backfield. And we got a loaded defense.”

That’s a huge endorsement for the Michigan Wolverines. So, will they go all the time? Time will tell. But, they looked good last weekend. The Wolverines beat the East Carolina Pirates, 30-3, on Saturday (Sept. 2). So, they have lots of promise.

Detroit Lions: Get to Know the Initial 53-Man Roster for 2023

  • Quarterbacks

This year’s quarterbacks are Jared Goff, who is the starting quarterback, of course, along with Teddy Bridgewater and Hendon Hooker. We have a solid crew here. I’m a Goff believer.
