Saweetie has found her "type," and it's YG. Photos of the two cozying up in Mexico hit the timeline as the West Coast rappers were enjoying each other's company. The PDA-filled snaps showed YG in a black hat and gold chains as he was hugging and kissing on the "ICY GRL." Saweetie rocked a pink bikini and large box braids.
Rumors of the two dating began when they were seen together at Lala’s Wafflehouse after they attended Coachella last month. Saweetie was also in attendance at YG's 33rd birthday party in March. Prior to their romance, the two linked up musically. Both rappers are heard on Mozzy's 2022 "In My Face," which also had a guest appearance from 2Chainz.
Previously, Saweetie dated Migos rapper Quavo between 2018 and 2021. She shocked fans when she declared to be single on Twitter.
"I’m single," Saweetie announced on Twitter in March 2021. "I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band-aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women."

She added: "I emotionally checked out a long time ago and have walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom. Excited for this new chapter of elevation."
Shortly after the breakup, a video of a physical altercation between the two in an elevator surfaced. Both rappers spoke about the situation after.
"This unfortunate incident happened a year ago, while we have reconciled since then and moved past this particular disagreement, there were simply too many other hurdles to overcome in our relationship and we have both since moved on," she told The Shade Room at the time. "I kindly ask that everyone respect my privacy during this time."
Quavo also spoke about the incident shortly after the video surfaced.
"We had an unfortunate situation almost a year ago that we both learned and moved on from," the Migos rapper told TMZ at the time. "I haven’t physically abused Saweetie and have real gratitude for what we did share overall."
YG previously dated Keke Palmer and Kehlani. He also has two daughters with ex-girlfriend Catelyn Sparks.
