3-5 More Inches of Snow Expected in Michigan This Week
Even though the snow totals from this weekend were not huge, they weren’t minor considering what Southeast Michigan had in January. Currently, a system is building across the lower Rocky Mountains and could bring between three and five inches to Michigan, however, that amount is subject to change as the week progresses. For most of the week, temperatures in Southeast Michigan are expected to fluctuate throughout the week so be prepared to experience some cray Michigan weather.
Though it’s not entirely clear when the snow will fall, commuters should be able to get to work without much difficulty Wednesday morning. The snow will certainly be falling by midday. Gusty conditions are also expected to cause problems with travel plans as the system arrives. During the majority of the week, southeast Michigan temperatures will hover at or near freezing. Experts are encouraging individuals to prepare for the weather ahead of time and take the necessary precaution to avoid getting caught in the potential tragic weather.
